Joomla! Cookie Control

If you serve web sites to anyone in the EU, the EU Privacy Directive requires that you give visitors to your site the capability to opt out of use of cookies. It doesn't matter how the web site was created, this is still required.

There are a number of options for Joomla! which can be found at http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/site-management/cookie-control/21382. The one that we use, and have found to be very effective, is Cookie Confirm.
