How do I ... Have some standard text at the bottom of several pages in Joomla!

The easiest way to do this is to use the Articles - Newsflash module.

First, create a category for the article that is going to hold your standard text.

Then, create a new article with the standard text in, and assign the category you just created to it.

Now, create a new Articles - Newsflash module and set it to only show articles from the category we used above.

Set the position to where you would like the text to appear (footer, for example).

Use the "Menu Assignment" tab to put the module on only the pages that you want it to be on.

Voila!
